Miracle Whip |
Last
night, Lee 'sat in' with
Miracle Whip at Mitzi's Sister,
a hip venue on Queen Street West in Toronto.
The band, featuring Mike Andrechuk,
English Nigel, Jennifer Lewis
and James van Bolhuis, draws on a
wide variety of influences, from Punk and Glam rock
to old school R'n'B and Soul.
Lee joined them for a wild romp through the classics
'Treat Her Right' and 'Baby
Please Don't Go'.
It seems a good time was had by all!

Lee
recently played on a new Nashville based progressive
rock recording.
The project, UltraViolet Daydream - Redshift,
is spearheaded by friend and collaborator Dutch.
Utilizing Pedal Steel, Lap Steel, 12 string Electric,
6 string Electric, Electric Sitar (!) and EBow, Lee
added some 'ear candy' to the complex musical stew
which is now in the final stages of production.
Stylistically, this is quite a departure for Lee,
but an interesting experience which allowed him great
freedom to experiment with tones and sonic textures.
Contributing players include: Dutch, Mark
Mingrone and Jeff Brown. |
